About the Minnesota Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings entered the NFL as an expansion team in 1961.  The team, led by quarterback Fran Tarketon won its first game beating the Chicago Bears.  Despite four appearances the team has not yet won a Super Bowl game.  The Vikings play their home games in Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome.
