About the Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears began in 1920 as the Decatur Staleys under the leadership of George Halas.  The team became the Bears after moving to Chicago in 1921.  Under coach Mike Ditka the Bears won Super Bowl XX defeating the Patriots 46-10.  After playing 50 years at Wriggly Field and 32 years at Soldier Field the Bears moved into a new stadium at Soldier field in 2003.
