the Washington Wizards
The Wizards began as the Chicago Packers in 1961. The team played several seasons in Baltimore then moved to Washington in 1974 renamed the Bullets. In 1997 the Bullets were renamed the Wizards. The teams only NBA Championship was won in 1978. Notable alumni include Michael Jordan, Earl Monroe and Wes Unseld. The Wizards play in the Atlantic Division.
