the New York Knicks
The New York Knickerbockers began in New York in 1946 and are one of only two original NBA teams to remain in their original city. (The Celtics are the other) The team has won two NBA Titles, in 1970 and 1973. Notable alumni include Walt Frazier and Earl Monroe. The Knicks play in the Atlantic Division.
