About the Detroit Pistons

The Pistons began in 1941 as the the Fort Wayne Zollner Pistons.  In 1957 the team moved to Detroit.  The Pistons have won three NBA titles, in 1989, 1990 and 2004.  Notable alumni include Isiah Thomas and Bill Laimbeer.  The Pistons play in the Central Division.
